Our tour kicks off at the Union Station flagpole. We begin the tour by discussing the iconic Union Station and its significance to the survival of Denver as a city. Over the next hour we walk a 1.5 mile loop around LoDo where we share stories of Hop Alley (Denverâ€™s first Chinatown), visit Mattie Silks House of Mirrors (the most famous bordello of its time), visit the oldest operating hotel in Denver, and learn about the underground tunnel system that runs beneath the city.

This tour was the first thing we did after arriving in Denver and it provided us an opportunity to get the "lay of the land". Bo provided some interesting facts about the city which made the tour interesting, as well as shared restaurant recommendations.

Our guide was awesome He was a prior chef in the city and had awesome recommendations and great commentary on the history of the city. The tunnels were awesome to learn about!

This is one of the best city tours I have been on, it gave great historical information and kept the group interested. Plus they have tips on current great places for food and shopping. It was the perfect tour at the beginning of our vacation to get an idea of what we wanted to do for the rest of our weekend. Recommend taking notes of the trip for places to go back too later. Boe was our guide and he was the absolute best! After the tour he answered our questions about the city and gave us the low down on must see places.

We love all the tours we have ever taken with Denver Local Walking Tours! This particular time we had Beau as our guide. He was engaging, knowledgeable, funny, and made the tour fun and educational. We have done this tour 3 times and have learned something new each time! My mom was in town and had never been to Denver. This was definitely her favorite part of the trip. Highly recommend this tour and all the other tours guided by Denver Local Tours:)

Incredible storytelling of the city's history and entertainment on this tour led by Carla. She also works in the chef space, so you're in for a treat in knowing the best places to go at various price points. I'm not sure what sorcery was done, but what felt like strangers in a group felt more like friends at a bar by end of it. 5/5 would recommend and do again.

Interesting and pretty helpful in seeing many places and areas you might want to return to later . Went back to that Milk restaurant /shopping area. Loved it

The guide Jeff was very knowledgeable and mixing jokes with historical facts. We learnt a lot about downtown Denver, the buildings, the tunnels, right-light district and their historical anecdotes. It was great.
