  Highlight of our CO trip! Amazing guides, incredible scenery. An exciting & safe adventure. A must-do for all ages!!!

  Dylan and Derick were great zip line guides. I felt safe with them. Would recommend for any families that are going to be in this part of Colorado this summer

  We did the half day zip lining with Chelsea and Mica then finished the day off with white water rafting with Sara. For a family of 5, with a range of confidence levels, the tour guides did an amazing job reassuring us. At no point did we ever feel unsafe. Chelsea and Mica for the zip lining did an amazing job making sure our nervous family members were comfortable the whole time. As for the more adventurous of the pack, they taught them to do flips off the launch pads. The kids and parents both had a wonderful time and would recommend to any families with any and all skill sets. We did Browns Canyon for white water rafting with Sara and we had so much fun. Some of us were nervous heading in, but Sara remained calm the entire time, which helped us to relax and enjoy our time down the river. Unfortunately, the water levels were low, making it rocky, but not once were any of us uncomfortable.

  Sarah, Chelsea and River were the best guides we never knew we needed! Sarah and Chelsea took us through the zipline course. Not only did they keep us safe and make sure we understood exactly what we needed to do at all times, they were just incredibly fun! They kept things light, while also being supportive of the members of our group who were a bit more hesitant or unsure. There were 10 of us, many of whom had not ziplined before. Sarah and Chelsea were happy to show us how to do the fun things, but also quick to let us know when we should refrain or wait until a better part of the course. They explained each section and the best way to get through the section in the most enjoyable way. We had a blast! River was simply awesome! As our rafting guide, he was so laid back and calm while also being incredibly competent and making sure we enjoyed all the "spicy lines" that he took. We were all yelling "spicy lines only" by the last rapids! Unlike in past rafting trips, nobody fell out of the boat. Even for the most stomach twisting 3+ rapids, because of his clear explanations of what we would encounter and his reminders to lock in, all of us got through the rapids with nobody taking an unwanted dip. Because we chose a full day adventure with lunch, we also got a tasty meal between the ziplining and rafting. Chicken fajitas, rice and beans and fruit and PB & J sandwich makings were very tasty. Our vegans, vegetarians and omnivores were all happy. Finally, I don't recommend this, but our group arrived late. Despite our late arrival, AVA worked hard to still accommodate us and turned what had started out as a bad morning into an awesome day. Thank you for the great experience! I know we will be back!

  I planned this trip as a 50th b-day present for my sweetie. We had an amazing time! The ziplining was awesome and the guides were very knowledgeable and attentive. Dylan, ensured we were all safety conscious while still having fun (because, as he reminded us, we were on vacation)! The rafting was also exceptional with J-Stroke. He navigated the waters of the Arkansas with ease. He ensured we had a great time and even took time to point out some cool rock formations and cool structures along the way. Definitely doing this again!

  We had a blast with our group of 3 moms and teenagers going ziplining. Everything was well organized and easy for us. The guides were Sarah and Megan who were fantastic. They calmed some nerves and explained everything to us clearly. It was an absolute blast!

  All of the guys at AVA’s Buena Vista CO outpost are top notch, especially Micah and Jordan (zip lining) and John (rafting). Great adventure made greater by their personalities, character, and care!

  Our Zipline guides were Dillon and Derek. They were outstanding! Very helpful and so calming. A member of our party is an AKA amputee and D/D did a great job making sure the experience was equally smooth for all. We give them our highest recommendation!

  A Trip of a Lifetime Our family of four booked the Browns Canyon half day rafting and zipline adventure and what an adventure it was! Upon arrival, the staff at AVA was welcoming and all smiles the store was full of items to use during the trip and fun memories to purchase just to have. They have fresh coffee and hot beverages for guests to use in the shop. We meet Dillon and Sara, our zipline instructors. They are FABULOUS! Full of excitement, encouragement and yes, saved me since I braked too hard on the line. They made our trip so much fun!!! The lunch afterwards was delicious and since the closest town/gas station was over 30 mins away, a smart choice on our part. The final part of our day adventure was white water rafting with level 3 rapids. The group of guides were top notch, always felt that we were given the right amount of safety knowledge for our rafting trip. The area is beautiful, our guide, Erico, explained the variety of animals, rock formations and general area facts as we enjoyed the river. What made this trip a "lifetime trip" was the surprise Mother Nature had in store for us. The 1st rapids gave us more than we bargained for. Erico guided us as best as we were able to do, but at the end, 4 of the 6 on the raft hit the water. The guides jumped into safety mode and rescued us and took control of a very scary situation. My family was safe and sound at the end and I was in awe of the professionalism, safety first focus and focus on our wellbeing. Thank you, Fish, Christian, Erico and the mystery paddlers who grabbed my family from the rapids. I would highly recommend this group at AVA. They went above and beyond in every detail to make our day of fun quite the adventure!
