Brandon was an amazing guide! He made the experience great! All the staff from check in to unloading the raft was great!

AVA safely transported us to and from the river and gave me and my teens a float trip through Browns Canyon. But that was about it. The guides lacked charisma and enthusiasm. There was no friendly banter, no high-fives with the paddles, no energy. At one point on the river, guides Whitten and Steven were arguing with each other about who was at fault for bumping into each other's raft. Meanwhile, Lakota Guides are living it up with the riders by leading splashing, making calls to the other boats, cheering after passing through a Cat 3 rapids, and giving paddle high-fives. And I'm sure they were able to do that without compromising safety. Also, I had ordered a Fajita lunch for 6 back at basecamp. However, the order was not communicated ahead and the chef did not purchase enough food. There were a number of people in the front office, but nobody seemed in charge. Micha refunded my lunch, but that was the extent he went for customer service.

We had a great experience with Randy while rafting the numbers. He is friendly and knowledgeable of the river and area, we would definitely raft with Randy again!

Great trip w my 18 yr old daughter. Fish was fantastic. The ride from Aspen to BV thru Independence pass is unbelievable.

The booking was not accurate. The rafting company has us reserved for a 9:00am launch. TripAdvisor booked us for a 12:30 launch. By the time we got there, the rafting company could not accommodate our reservation. We are now working on getting the refund from TripAdvisor/Viator.

We had an awesome time on our rafting trip. AVA gets you equipped with all you need. This was our first time rafting and it was a great experience!! We did The Numbers rafting trip. Our guide Paul was fabulous.
